SmartNest proudly announces the launch of their project, "Games of Seasons," funded through the prestigious Erasmus+ SPORT program. This innovative initiative aims to celebrate traditional games and sports, providing children with year-round fun and engagement opportunities.

Targeted at children aged 7-12 from Latvia, Bulgaria, and Turkey "Games of Seasons" will introduce a variety of seasonal activities — from winter fun outdoors to summer beach games —helping children explore the rich heritage of traditional Latvian and European games.

The project's primary goal is not only to promote these traditional pastimes through demonstrations and practical sessions that educate children about the history and culture of the games, but also to encourage physical activity throughout the year. Participating in group games will enhance communication and collaboration skills among the children, while involving kids from diverse social and cultural backgrounds will foster an inclusive and friendly environment.

SmartNest will collaborate with local schools, sports clubs, and communities in Latvia to ensure the project's success. "Games of Seasons" will run over 14 months, having kicked off on June 15, 2023, with spring activities in Varna's Sea Garden.

SmartNest will periodically update all interested parties through its social media profiles and invites the children of Latvia to participate and support this significant initiative.
