Key Skills & Techniques: Acrobatic Elements


The Acrobatic Elements module introduces the core floor and tumbling skills that form the foundation of TeamGym routines. These drills develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and spatial awareness, preparing athletes for both basic and advanced acrobatic movements.


This module includes exercises such as cartwheel, roundoff, backward roll (to plank and to handstand), walkovers (forward and backward), and handspring. Each progression builds on the previous one, ensuring athletes gain the confidence, alignment, and control needed for safe and powerful tumbling.
